How our screenplay proofreading service works:
Step 1) Upload your script file
After checkout, send us your script via our upload page or email. You can send any type of file and we’ll handle the rest.
Step 2) We proofread your script
We mark every error in red ink. Punctuation, spelling, grammar, format, you name it and we’ll flag it in bright red for you. (Or, if you prefer another color, we can do that, too.)
Step 3) We send it back to you all marked up
In about 5 business days, your script is emailed back to you, slathered in glorious red ink showing you exactly what to fix.

How do I get the final proofread file?
We email a PDF of the same exact script you sent in for proofreading, but this one is marked in handwritten red ink (see sample above)
Do you use standard proofreading markup?
Our main goal is to make sure you understand the markup, so we use a blend of custom markup and the Chicago Manual of Style proofreading standard.
What if I have many errors of the same kind?
If you have the same exact error across many pages, we circle every one of them but may only explain the error once or twice, because by then it should be clear to you what the error is and how to fix it.
Can I ask questions afterward?
If any of our markup is unclear, just let us know and we'll get you sorted.
